Preston accountant helps celebrate achievements of micro businesses by judging prestigious business award

An accountant from one of Preston’s leading accountancy firms is helping to celebrate the achievements of the region’s micro businesses this summer by judging the eponymous category at the BIBAs – the Be Inspired Business Awards.

Chloe Greenbank, a Manager at Rotherham Taylor Limited, is a member of the panel of judges, tasked with the unenviable job of selecting a winner from a strong field of entrants from across a range of sectors.

As part of the rigorous judging process, Chloe and her fellow judges have already carried out the first round of interviews and have selected the finalists.

They will be visiting the premises of all the shortlisted businesses later this month to speak with staff and get a feel for the businesses on their own turf as they look to select the winner.

Chloe said: “Micro businesses play a vital part in the Lancashire economy and it is great to be able to help celebrate their contribution.

“Here at Rotherham Taylor Limited, we work with micro businesses on a daily basis and so we understand the significant challenges that they face.

“That makes the achievements of the firms in contention for the award even more impressive and I am looking forward to visiting them with my fellow judges later in the month.

“Choosing the winner promises to be a very difficult task indeed.”

The winners of the BIBAs 2017 will be announced at a ceremony in September.
