Shout Network and Central Lancashire Business Club merge to launch evening networking event

Business networking groups, Shout Network and Central Lancashire Business Club (CLBC), are joining forces to launch a new evening networking meeting on 11 September 5.30pm at the Leyland Hotel.

Already well established with 18 networking groups across Lancashire, Shout Network will be taking the reins of Central Lancashire Business Club and establishing their first evening group for networkers across the region.

To be known as Shout Central Lancashire Business club, the meetings will be monthly, open to all, and fees will be on a “pay per meet” basis. Unlike the regular Shout Network meetings, Shout CLBC won’t be single sector only, which Ian Coupe of Shout Network hopes will encourage all networkers to come along and give the group a try:

“This is a great opportunity for networkers of all sectors to meet with like-minded business people in a relaxed environment. Everyone will get 60 seconds to tell the room about their business and one member will do a presentation. Other than that, it’s an open opportunity to make great contacts”.

The CLBC was established originally as the Chorley Business Club in 1984 to promote local trading, good business practices and collaboration with other business groups. Steve Ward, Honorary Chair, believes the merger with Shout Network is a great way of taking the group forward: “Shout Network is a great fit for the CLBC, having similar principals and operating in a similar geographic area. I am delighted that we have come to an agreement that continues the CLBC name, and on a personal note I’m really pleased to have been asked to continue to Chair the new meetings as the Shout Central Lancashire Business Club”.
