New executive boardroom at Ribby Hall Village

It all started with a small tractor shed, nestled in the acres of picturesque woodland, now known as Ribby Hall Village. As heavy investment started to make The Village what it is today, demand for all aspects continued to grow.

When approached by British Aerospace, now BAE Systems, in 1996 the opportunity to open a conference centre quickly came to fruition. Two years later, whilst the Village went through further development, the decision was made to ‘up sticks’ and move to the nearby Kirkgate Centre in Kirkham. Although a short distance from The Village the requirement for space grew further.Ribby Hall

In 2004, the purpose built conference and training venue opened, relocating all steadfast conference goers from the venue in the centre of Kirkham, and welcoming a raft of new high profile delegates. Sir Digby Jones, then Director General of the CBI, flew in by helicopter to do the honours of opening the 20,000 square feet of conference space. Only two years after the conference venue opened the facilities were awarded the accolade of the ‘UKs Best Conference Venue’ at the Business Excellence Awards in London, and Ribby Hall Village has continued to live up to that very reputation, with delegates returning time after time for delicious food, unique surroundings and exceptional service.

From AGMs to team building, product launches to recruitment days, Ribby Hall Village has seen, and administered, them all, making the ideal business venue. Boasting 17 conference rooms, including the unique Treehouse venue, there’s a space to suit conferences of any size… and style!

One of the 17 rooms includes the newly refurbished Executive Boardroom – Suite 1. The new executive boardroom is the elegant choice for intimate board meetings for up to 12 delegates. Sit back in the opulent leather director’s chairs around the modern boardroom style table and be wowed by the state-of-the-art technology. An android compatible, 65inch plasma Smart TV and built in surround sound are just a couple of the features available in this executive suite. The suite comes equipped with an integrated mini fridge stocked with bottles of water, fresh fruit juice and fresh milk, as well as special morning and afternoon snack options. Get the morning buzz with freshly baked artisanal pastries served alongside granola and natural yogurt for the health conscious! Come mid morning, Emily’s handmade biscuits will be just the treat you need to make it to lunch, where the choice between a one course Garden Room lunch or Farmhouse lunch is completely yours! Afternoon delight… freshly prepared sumptuous gateaux’s will be served to you personally.

Ribby HallEmily Jackson from KPMG says “The team and I were so impressed with the whole event– the staff at Ribby Hall were so friendly and helpful, the timings were spot on, conference room was great, the food was lovely… I cannot praise it enough; it was totally seamless (which is rare to come by!).  I will definitely be recommending Ribby Hall to friends and colleagues, should anyone need a venue or accommodation in the North.”

Ribby Hall Village is host to a number of conferences every year, big and small. If you’re looking for an intimate meeting for 2 or an awards dinner for 300 there’s a room to suit.
