Lancaster based business Fat Media has appointed two new staff to the rapidly growing team

Lancaster based business, Fat Media has appointed two new staff to the rapidly growing team.

Liam Hartley Wright has joined the digital marketing team as a marketing executive. Based in Lancaster he will be developing content and implementing email marketing campaigns for a range of Fat Media’s clients including international brands and SMEs. A graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University, Liam has previous experience working in marketing for companies in Skipton and Manchester.

Amy Ratcliffe has joined Fat Media’s London office as a senior account manager. Her previous experience includes both agency roles and client side roles working on a range of offline and digital services in a variety of industries.

Managing director, John French said: “It has been an incredible year for Fat Media, we’ve seen our headcount increase by more than 40% and our investment in staff continues with the appointment of new ‘Fatties’ Amy and Liam this month. We should also be seeing a raft of further appointments in the coming months, following our graduate recruitment scheme which has been running to recruit the brightest and best graduate talent.”

John added: “Amy and Liam will make great additions to the team. Amy will play a key role in helping drive growth in our London office, while Liam brings some solid skills and experience to help further develop our email marketing offer.”

In recognition of Fat Media’s success and commitment to youth talent, the firm has recently been shortlisted for three Lancashire in Business Awards, including best employer of the year, best digital agency of the year and their business development director, Martika Mingins shortlisted as the region’s employee of the year.

On the awards, John said: “Being shortlisted in the Lancashire Business Awards is a real acknowledgment of our drive to grow not just our business but to promote creative talent in the region.”
