Don’t get in a spin about employment law this spring

Lancaster based business law firm Baines Wilson LLP are running Employment Law Update seminars covering Lancashire and the south of Cumbria. The seminars will be on 30 March 2017 at Lancaster House Hotel and 11 April 2017 at The Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge.

Hot topics that will be covered include recruitment, grievances and also, in the light of the recent controversial Uber case, there will be update on employment status and the “gig economy”.

Joanne Holborn, Head of Employment Law and Training said: “Our seminars are important to keep employers ahead in the ever changing arena of employment law. At this seminar we will also be covering Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE), as well as updating attendees on the latest changes to legislation and case law.”

Baines Wilson’s Employment Team will all be presenting at the seminar and delegates will have the opportunity to ask the experts any issues affecting their business. Joanne said: “Employment law is always changing so it is important that HR professionals and business owners keep up to date with the latest developments and receive practical tips in dealing with difficult issues.”

The seminars will be hosted by the Employment & Training Team at Baines Wilson LLP. Delegates will have the opportunity to ask any questions during the course of the seminar and to network with HR professionals and business owners.

The seminars are aimed at employers who want to keep up to date with the latest changes in employment law.

If you wish to book a place on one of the update seminars, please contact Martha Winn on 01524 548494 or by email at [email protected]
