Campbells Caravans Invests £100K in New Blackburn Showroom

Lancashire based Campbells Caravans has announced the launch of a new showroom in Blackburn following a £100k investment.

A family-run business, Campbells Caravans specialises in new and used caravans and motorhomes with a client base spanning across Lancashire and West Yorkshire. The new showroom builds on Campbells Caravans existing sites in Preston and an almost 50 year heritage as a family business in Lancashire. This investment mirrors the increase in popularity for staycations and the demand for caravans in the UK market.

Located on Croft Head Road in Blackburn, formally Read Caravans, the acquisition of the new site expands the company’s capabilities to hold stock and to reach a wider geographical area. The Blackburn site employs 25 across its sales, dispatch and servicing teams.

The investment included a complete renovation of the offices, shop and showroom as well as substantial extensions to the existing buildings on the site. The newly renovated site has become a destination for keen caravanners, with an impressive awning department on the mezzanine floor and an extensive shop which includes everything you might need to start your new caravanning lifestyle, from crockery and glassware to doormats and jacks.

The showroom also has a dispatch centre, where all caravans which leave the forecourt are tested to ensure all aspects are fully functioning and to educate the new owners how to operate and maintain their caravan.

Daniel Campbell, director at Campbells Caravans, said: “We’re excited about the launch of our new showroom, following our investment into the site. People travel far and wide to find the perfect caravan or motorhome – having a showroom in Blackburn will allow us to broaden our scope in the new and used caravan sector, enabling us to help our customers find the right vehicle to suit their needs and lifestyle.

“As our family business spans almost five decades, we felt it was only appropriate to celebrate the launch of our new showroom with a family fun weekend, for all to come and see our new facility and what we have on offer.”

The launch of the new showroom will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April, and will include special offers, a free BBQ and a family fun day.
