Marsden Rawsthorn making Christmas special for local kids

Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors is gathering gifts for those less fortunate this Christmas.

The legal experts based in Fulwood and Chorley, are once again supporting Mission Christmas run by Cash for Kids Lancashire, in a bid to make sure every local child gets a present come December 25.

The team is opening its doors to allow clients, staff and members of the public to drop off toys or gifts that would be suitable for children aged 0-18.

These should be donated unwrapped to allow Mission Christmas to sort them into suitable age groups.

The firm has also opened a justgiving donation page which will be used to buy gifts.

Katy Rider, senior associate solicitor, at Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors said: “We are proud to be helping out with this event once again. There are more children locally than you’d expect who will receive little or nothing this Christmas. We want to make sure every child in the area gets something to unwrap on Christmas Day.

“We’ve also got staff going to help at Mission Christmas HQ on Monday which we’re really excited about. We will be sorting the gifts and making sure they get to where they need to be in time.”

Pictured with the present stash so far are Marsden Rawsthorn staff, Mandy Prescott and Jenni Shoreman.

People who would like to donate have until 14 December to bring a gift for the collection to the Preston office Reception, Faraday Drive, Fulwood,  PR2 9NB.
