BOLTON’S LOVE ENERGY SAVINGS SCOOPS TOP FINANCE AWARD

BOLTON-based Love Energy Savings has won a prestigious award for the strength of its finance team.

The business’s 11-strong finance team secured the Team of the Year Award at this year’s Finance Awards North West.

Recognised across the industry, the awards highlight the teams and businesses that have demonstrated excellence in the finance field and delivered proven success over the past 12 months.

The win follows a radical overhaul of the department, driven by LoveEnergy Savings new Chief Financial Officer, Clair Scott.

Following the team’s transformative commercial and financial improvements they are continuing to grow and expand their capabilities.

The finance team is part of the award winning company’s 200-strong workforce that are helping businesses tackle the cost of living crisis using its proprietary technology.

CEO Phil Foster said: “It’s a fantastic feeling to see my team get the recognition they deserve after such a brilliant year.

“In what has been one of the trickiest years in recent memory for the energy sector, the team has gone above and beyond to support the entire business.

“They’ve adapted and overhauled the way we think about finance at Love Energy Savings, driven incredible results and helped to lay the foundations for future success.

“For us, the main focus now is on expanding what we’re offering with new services to give our customers a one stop shop for business utilities. It’s a complex task, but knowing we’re doing it with the backing of an award-winning finance team is a huge plus.”

Chief Financial Officer Clair Scott said: “I’m absolutely delighted that the team has been crowned North West Team of the Year!

“It has been an incredibly tough few years, especially in our sector, and what they have achieved the past 18 months is nothing short of phenomenal.

“They dug deep and through sheer grit and determination helped me deliver transformational change here.

“I’m just so pleased that they got the public recognition they deserved at such a fantastic awards night. I’m tremendously proud and look forward to the next 18 months and see what we can achieve together!”
