Commenting on the findings, Flinn Dolman, Co-founder & Chief Data Officer at Lawhive, highlighted the importance of exploring remote solicitor services to find more affordable options. He emphasised that individuals no longer need to solely rely on local solicitors, as online access allows for engagement with solicitors across the country, potentially resulting in significant cost savings.

Lawhive gathered data from solicitors in each city, obtaining a minimum of three quotes per city. The research specifically focused on divorce services and took into account population figures from the Office for National Statistics.

Consumers are advised to consider solicitors beyond their immediate area and take advantage of the convenience and cost-saving opportunities offered by engaging with solicitors remotely.

The study by Lawhive serves as a valuable resource for individuals navigating divorce proceedings, helping them make informed decisions about solicitor services based on affordability and quality.
