Video production company GD Video has produced a suite of videos for a new YouTube channel from Poulton-le-Fylde branding and design agency Studio LWD.
Brand-Ed will be a new online video series featuring advice, tips and thought leadership on branding and design from Studio LWD creative director Laura Weldon.
The channel will see Laura drawing on her experiences as a founder of the ten-strong, multi-service, brand-building agency, and from her time working with some of the world’s most iconic brands including Virgin, Nike, Tesco, Aldi and the British Council.
GD Video director Garth Dew said: “Laura came to us looking for a way to really get across her passion for branding and marketing, providing valuable insights based on her experience working with everyone from major brands to pre-funding start-ups.
“We shot the first suite of videos as a natural conversation and this will now be broken into multiple assets optimised for web and social.”
Studio LWD creative director Laura Weldon said: “These days it seems anyone with a dashcam can post their views on the internet and we’re almost lost in a sea of opinion. But we want our Brand-Ed videos to stand out from the crowd, with a professional look and feel that helps the viewer intuitively sense they can trust the content within, and that it will be a worthy investment of their time.
“GD Video works with in-house teams and agencies and pride themselves on telling authentic and cinematic stories that humanise brands and connect with audiences, which is exactly what we want to achieve with Brand-Ed.
“Working with them on the first tranche of videos, our aim was to show the professional statement-of-intent behind Brand-Ed, which we are aiming to make into a resource and community for likeminded individuals in the creative industry.”
