Harrison Drury looks to the future with new trio

North West law firm Harrison Drury has signed up two trainee solicitors and appointed a paralegal as part of its latest investment in people development.

Graduate Peter Barlow and paralegal Zoe Edwards, who worked previously in firm’s commercial litigation team, have been offered training contracts.

The firm also welcomes Hannah Pinder who joins Harrison Drury’s commercial litigation team as a paralegal.

Amanda Webster, director at Harrison Drury and head of professional development, said: “Our trainee programme plays a vital part in developing our team, supporting our clients and allowing people to progress at the firm.

“Peter and Zoe will gain valuable experience across a wide area of legal practice during the next two years. It’s also a pleasure to welcome Hannah who will play an important role supporting our busy commercial litigation team.”

Hannah graduated from Edge Hill University with a degree in Sociology and then gained a Diploma in Law and Masters in Legal Practice from the University of Central Lancashire. She previously worked as a legal assistant at another North West law firm prior to joining Harrison Drury.

Peter studied at the University of Central Lancashire and achieved a first class honours degree in law and went on to complete his Legal Practice Course with merit earlier this year. He is originally from Yorkshire and is a keen Formula One and football fan.

Originally from Staffordshire and now living in Preston, Zoe took a year out to travel before joining Harrison Drury in 2018 as a paralegal. She is a University of Central Lancashire graduate with a first class honours degree in law.
