CloudM has partnered with Promethean World to donate a Promethean Digital Board worth over £5,500 to Rosewood Primary School.
Students at Rosewood Primary School were delighted this week when tech company CloudM donated a Promethean Digital Board to aid a more digital way of working for the school. Gateway Heyworth Networks Ltd also donated a screen stand, to make it easy for staff to move the new tech around the school to benefit even more students.
Promethean Digital Boards add real value to any classroom, and CloudM believes the smart board will provide teachers with the tools to deliver a greater learning experience, making it more enjoyable for both teachers and students.
The Promethean 86” 4K ActivPanel Nickel, worth over £5,500, has all the essentials to provide teachers with everything they need straight out of the box. Internet-ready and preloaded with teaching tools, ActivPanel Nickel is a long-term, reliable solution for schools looking to replace outdated whiteboard systems with an easy-to-use and highly capable interactive display.
Rosewood Primary School, the recipients of the generous donation, is a school for primary-aged children in Burnley. The school is an integral part of the community where everyone involved has an important part to play in supporting and encouraging each other. Not only does the school help children succeed academically but also helps them to grow in confidence and self-esteem, and to give them the many social skills they need as they move on through life.
Mrs Ditchburn-Hughes, Head Teacher at Rosewood Primary School, said: “We would just like to thank Sam Winter from Cloud M and both Beau and Chris from Gateway Heyworth Networks Ltd for your generosity in donating the 86″ Promethean Interactive Screen to our school. It will be a great help to our school and will be mounted onto the wall in the large school hall.
“Thank you for your continued service and support. We look forward to continuing working closely with you for our IT solutions.”
Gary Bennion, Managing Director of CloudM, said: “The local community is important to us, so we were delighted to donate the digital board to Rosewood Primary School. The board should aid a more digital way of working for the school, and hopefully inspire the children and teachers to embrace the world of technology. We hope all at Rosewood Primary School enjoy their new board!”
