William Russell returns to Newton-le-Willows’ based Kingdom Local Authority Support as its new National Operations Director

Kingdom Local Authority Support (LAS) is welcoming back William Russell to the company in the newly created role of National Operations Director.

It marks a return for Will who previously worked in various positions in Kingdom Group, whose headquarters are based in Newton-le-Willows, from 2017 to 2021.

In his new role, Will will be working with Kingdom LAS managers and colleagues to grow and develop the environmental and community safety projects offered by the company.

Most recently he was working in environmental protection and community safety for 3GS.

Kingdom LAS works with local authorities across England to clamp down on fly-tipping, dog fouling, littering and anti-social behaviour. The firm uses data analysis and software mapping to find problem hot-spots and dispatch teams ready to take action.

Will’s appointment comes as Kingdom Local Authority Support plans new contracts with more local authorities across the country.

Will said: “I am delighted to be joining Kingdom Local Authority Support at such an important – and challenging – time for local authorities. The company has won a number of significant new contracts in the past few weeks and months and I’m looking forward to playing my part in helping that progress continue.”

Managing Director Michael Fisher said: “I am delighted to welcome Will back to the Kingdom Group. An important part of his role will be working with our Midlands, Wales and North of England teams where he will support the development and training of our colleagues on their career journey.”
