Two Stories Rebrands Global Out of Home business Evolve

Brand consultancy and design studio Two Stories has rebranded, and designed and developed a new website, for independent, global Out Of Home business Evolve.

Following rapid growth of the company, which launched in 2018 and now has offices in London, New York and Singapore, Evolve briefed Two Stories to create a new brand identity that would reflect its established position in the marketplace and take its business forward.

The new brand for Evolve, who works with brands such as Hugo Boss, AXA and De Beers, was informed by research and workshops undertaken by Two Stories and focuses on its story of growth and progression, and its aim to continuously develop the OOH industry.

This idea of the business’s evolution is reflected in the brand’s tone of voice and its new strapline – a new class of Out Of Home – and visually is translated into a unique brand device that was inspired by a graphic representation of the evolutionary process of speciation.

Evolve’s logo was changed from lowercase typography and its original planetary-style graphic to a confident, bold uppercase typography. This was complemented by a new mature green, navy, purple and white colour palette, alongside a playful, vibrant pink accent colour that mirrors the exciting OOH industry.

The consultancy also delivered the design and development for Evolve’s new website, creating a vibrant and contemporary digital presence that reflects its brand, values, and its position in the innovative OOH industry.

Evolve’s rebrand was launched alongside its new website, with its own OOH campaign featuring in Leicester Square and the Meridian Steps at Westfield Stratford City, as well as at bus and train stations across London.

Bekkie Hull, co-founder and Creative Director at Two Stories, said: “Evolve is an impressive, independent Out Of Home business that is challenging the industry. The company came to us to take it forward from a start-up logo to a complete brand, including visual identity and tone of voice, and then to align that across its all touchpoints. We have delivered a mature, vibrant brand and website that elevates Evolve and reflects its established position within the OOH industry.”

“It’s always exciting to see a rebrand go live but seeing Two Stories’ work writ large on the only commercial advertising screen in Leicester Square in London as Evolve launched was incredible.”

Danielle Austin, Managing Director at Evolve, said: “The patience of Two Stories is remarkable. We’d never worked with a branding agency before, so we were naturally unaware of how extensive and in-depth a rebrand would be, but from the start Two Stories ensured that they engaged the team at the right moments and worked closely with us throughout the process. Our rebrand is now complete and has been hugely successful; we look forward to continuing to work with Two Stories.”
