21Digital in Awards Finals

Blackburn digital marketing agency 21Digital has been shortlisted in two categories in the Northern eCommerce Awards 2020.

Celebrating the very best in eCommerce and online retailing from across the North of England, the awards feature a variety of categories covering exceptional websites, platforms, suppliers, and marketing from in-house teams and agencies, and are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts.

Trident Park-based 21Digital has been shortlisted for Best eCommerce Search Marketing Campaign and DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design eCommerce Website of the Year for its work with Savoy Timber, which has provided a tripling of online sales overall and like-for-like doubling for outdoor timber and decking during Covid-19 lockdown.

A representative of the Northern eCommerce Awards organised by Don’t Panic Events said: “Now more than ever, the online world is playing a vital role in the current climate, supporting and supplying the nation with goods and services.

“There has been a huge impact on eCommerce websites and platforms as consumer behaviour changes and adapts to the current situation as they switch from buying offline to buying online.

“Therefore, we will be rewarding all online platforms and websites in the North who have stepped up to the challenge, have produced innovative results and improved their eCommerce offering over the last 12 months.”

21Digital managing director Sam Fletcher said: “We are really excited to have been shortlisted for these awards. Home and garden is a sector where we’re exceptionally strong, so we’re very much hoping to be celebrating along with our clients if we’re successful in the final.”

Due to the current government guidance surrounding Covid-19, the awards organisers have made the Northern eCommerce Awards an online event this year, and winners will be announced via social media on Thursday 1 October from 1pm.
