Sanditize, a new UK brand of PPE has announced its first distribution deal with leading homestores retailer Wilko, weeks from starting production.
This move will see more than 1 million bottles of the new Sanditize hand gel being sold nationwide, across 400 family-owned Wilko stores.
Manufactured to the highest standards, the new anti bacterial hand gel is being produced in the UK at the companys’ Blackburn operations center.
Sanditize Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Patel, said “We are delighted to be partnering with wilko for our first UK launch.
Hand Gel is a product which is in high demand from consumers and many retailers are finding it hard to source. Now thanks to leveraging our world class-manufacturing operations at our sister company Vaper Dinner Lady, we are supplying retailers in the UK, across Europe and the USA”.
The brain child of serial entrepreneur Mohammed Patel, the new Sanditize PPE brand and product range has been brought to market in record time and is now extending its range to include premium quality face masks for both every day and clinical use.
Ashley Dove, buyer for wilko, said: “Over the last couple of week hand sanitisers have been swept off the shelves and retailers have struggled to keep up with demand for this now essential product. We set out to source a new product from a UK supplier that would enable us to offer great value in a market where prices and demand is rising rapidly. Sanditize filled those requirements and have enabled us to help our customers stay safe.”
Since launching the brand just a few weeks ago Sanditize has created 24 new full-time jobs at its Blackburn headquarters and is now targeting a million pound investment in a new operations line after securing deals with retailers in the UK and abroad.
Chief Marketing Officer John Taylor said “Hand gel and face masks have become key products for retailers like wilko and we have leveraged our global supply chain and local operations center to make these products available to them today.
