UVS SUPPLIES MONEYSUPERMARKET GROUP WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART VIDEO WALL CONTROL SYSTEM

Moneysupermarket Group has recruited Burnley-based Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) to provide control solutions for the LED video wall at its new product design and innovation centre in Manchester.

UVS has used its own Lucidity video wall controller system to efficiently create and manage the unique display requirements for the client’s custom-built LED video wall, which covers and links both floors of Moneysupermarket Group’s base at No.1 Spinningfields.

The LED video wall has an unusual resolution of 800×2400 pixels and is the hub of the company’s expanding product engineering team, which designs purpose-driven digital experiences for Moneysupermarket Group customers.

The UVS Lucidity control software allows the client to easily configure the bespoke display layouts required for their different display scenarios and these are quickly launched via an integrated touch screen controller, courtesy of the Lucidity control application program interface (API).

Data source inputs include web content, PC inputs and video conferencing. This allows the video wall to be used by Moneysupermarket Group staff for meetings, collaboration, presentations and for it to be specifically tailored for VIP visits.

UVS Managing Director Steve Murphy said: “The UVS Lucidity WBC70 is capable of managing this unusual resolution and it allows the display of the multiple data source types simultaneously. All sources are displayed, using

the Lucidity control platform, in their native aspect ratio; meaning there are no stretched images.

“This also involved close liaison with the Moneysupermarket Group web page development team to ensure the web content was also correctly displayed

“The result, as the images show, is a stunning, dynamic and vibrant display canvas that meets Moneysupermarket Group’s immediate and future needs.”

Moneysupermarket Group, an established member of the FTSE 250, is a price comparison website-based business specialising in financial services and enabling consumers to compare prices on a range of products, including energy, car insurance, home insurance, travel insurance, mortgages, credit cards and loans.

The Lucidity brand is aimed at clients who require a bespoke solution and is also available from UVS to AV system integrators for resale to their end clients.

UVS, formerly eyevis UK, is based at Business First Burnley Business Centre and provides video wall displays and audio-visual solutions to a range of clients across the UK.

It is led by four senior colleagues who, between them, have more than 70 years’ combined Audio Visual, Control Room and Visual Solutions experience.

It has also opened a new London demonstration venue at Woburn Place, a short walk from Euston Station, to cope with increased demand for its technology.

eyevis UK changed its name to Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) last September following the acquisition of eyevis GmbH by the Leyard group.

The rebranding has allowed the company to offer an expanded range of products and services and remain at the forefront of providing turnkey solutions for all types of audio visual and visual display applications.
