Fresh Perspective crowned employer of the year

One of Lancashire’s leading recruitment firms is celebrating after winning the ‘Employer of the Year’ accolade at the Downtown in Business Lancashire awards on Thursday 20th June.

The sister-led business was nominated as finalists in four award categories at the prestigious Lancashire Business Awards run by Downtown in Business and battled it out against some of the county’s top businesses, businessmen and women in the Female Networker of the Year, Employee of the Year and Recruitment Business of the Year categories.

A delighted Managing Director, Laura Leyland, said: “I don’t think I even reacted I was in that much shock, I just stood up and didn’t know what to do with myself! I’m absolutely thrilled for the whole team.”

“To win, shows just how far we have come in a short space of time, battling the stereotype of recruitment which is massively important for the overall innovation in our sector. Emily and I are so passionately proud of our fabulous team and for the parts they have played in the success of Fresh so far.”

Talent Acquisition Director, Emily Leyland, added: “being a sister led company can sometimes be emotional, but this is something that drives the business, as our employees and the two of us know how much we care about Fresh and everyone that’s in it. We can really use the trust we have created to constantly be better and improve the business.

“For Evie, it’s a huge testament to her hard work, dedication and passion to be shortlisted in the Employee of the Year category and we can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
