Fresh Perspective celebrated its third birthday, the recruitment specialist was joined by around 70 guests at its offices to mark the occasion.
Owners Emily and Laura Leyland hosted the party as a thank you to clients who have helped in the company’s success.
Laura said: “It was important to us to celebrate our achievements. The statistics for companies not making it to year three are quite startling, forty percent of businesses fail to reach it, so to make it here is a huge achievement and we wanted to celebrate it.
“We wanted to bring together all those who have been part of our journey so far. We wouldn’t have done so well without them. It was a thank you to them.
Sister Emily added: “It was quite emotional to see so many people there. The fact we have so much support shows that we are making waves in the industry, which is fantastic.
“Not many of our clients have visited our office so we wanted them to come and see where we work.”
The business model is based on charging for time spent searching for candidates, rather than charging traditional placement fees. This ensures businesses receive value for money, saving organiscations up to 50 percent.
Emily added: “The recruitment industry has a terrible reputation but we want to change that. Most agencies charge up to 15 per cent of the job salary it is recruiting for, so if that’s a £50,000 post, that’s a lot of money.
“We know we are on the back foot in the recruitment industry and against our competitors but with our ethical approach, we are certainly becoming noticed and respected.”
The dedicated team, based in Chorley, has recruited 126 candidates for 45 businesses in three years, and hopes to fill 100 positions in the next 12 months.
Laura continued: “Year-on-year we’ve recruited more candidates and want to continue this trend and help more businesses succeed.
“We are passionate about helping people, whether that is candidates, clients, charities, or employees who work here.”
