Code Galaxy creates new online presence for Fylde charity

Blackpool-based Code Galaxy has completed an online website focused overhaul for Fylde Coast charity, Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, as part of its continued support for several good causes.

The Blue Skies Hospitals Fund is a registered charity dedicated to improving patient care at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The charity relies solely on donations to enhance the abilities of medical staff, with training and education, develop medical breakthroughs, purchase the latest medical equipment and improve patient environments.

Code Galaxy developed a new website for Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, creating a platform to encourage new donations and engagement, as well as better showcasing upcoming events and the latest news from the charity.

Mary Speakman, Director, Code Galaxy, said: “We are proud to be helping out a local charity, overhauling its website to encourage more people to donate to a very worthy cause.

“We do offer charities a discount, however, on this occasion, with the charity being so close to our hearts and after receiving fantastic treatment at Blackpool Victoria, we decided to do this one for free, we’ll also offer updates and maintenance as part of our on-going commitment to the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund. Later in the year, myself and the team will be taking part in the charity’s events, including a cook-off with other local businesses.”

Kila Redfern, Head of Fundraising, Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, added: “I’d like to thank the Code Galaxy team for giving up their time to rejuvenate our website. The new website will be instrumental in welcoming donations as well as promoting future fundraising events, the proceeds of which will help us continue in the delivery of exceptional patient care at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.”
