Blackburn Distributions collects coveted Exporter of the Year award

Burnley based supplement manufacturer, Blackburn Distributions, has been crowned the Exporter of the Year at the prestigious International Trade Club (ITC) annual awards 2018, organised by ELCC.

Blackburn Distributions fought off other large scale exporters to claim the prize, which was presented by Les Nutter, Managing Partner of Cassons Accountants.

Founded in 2004, Blackburn Distributions is a leading supplier and partner to the supplement, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, offering tailor made formulas and quantities, with the highest quality ingredients, to both businesses and consumers, at competitive prices. The manufacturer exports supplements across Europe, Africa and Asia, as well as having a distribution base in Michigan, USA.

Ben Blackburn, Founder and CEO, Blackburn Distributions, said: “Winning an award for our exporting efforts is a real honour for the business and testament to the hard work every member of the team puts in every day.

“We export around the world and it’s great to be recognised. As we enter 2019, we will seek to extend our large international footprint and grow our portfolio of export nations.”

Les Nutter, added: “It’s a real honour to support these awards and see fellow businesses in Lancashire recognised for their excellent work,  across all elements of international trade.”
