Chorley-based, Lyndhurst Precision Engineering, is expanding its team with the welcoming of four new colleagues.
Matthew Brown, from Burnley, joins Lyndhurst as a Design Engineer, following a successful internship with the firm and the completion of his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Northumbria University.
Graduate, Dominic Howorth has also joined Lyndhurst, following completion of his Computer Aided Design Engineering degree at UCLan. Dominic too was an intern with Lyndhurst, before being offered a full-time role at the engineering specialists.
Also joining the team is Inspection Manager, Andy Phythian, who has worked previously with Welding Units UK and AF Global. His skills in quality inspection, manufacturing engineering, project planning and operations management means he will be a valuable addition to Lyndhurst.
Finally, Liam Higginbotham joins the firm’s CNC team, following a wealth of experience in the aerospace sector as a CNC Miller.

Matthew added: “Following the completion of my Masters, I was delighted to discover that LyndhurstPrecision Engineering wanted to take me on full-time as a Design Engineer. I learned a great deal during my internship and I’m excited to begin my career with this state-of-the-art engineering company.”
