Ribble Valley Business Awards finalists revealed

571 nominations were received for the 2018 Ribble Valley Business Awards, a record in the five year history of the competition.

In total 154 different businesses were put forward alongside 15 candidates for the title Pride of Ribble Valley.

Rob Carder from Enterprising People, which organises the awards, said: “The quantity and quality of the entries really impressed the judges and gave them a really difficult task to select the finalists.

“The independent judges have chosen 37 different businesses as finalists and three candidates are in the running for the title Pride of Ribble Valley.

“All of the businesses that have been nominated as a finalist in any of the categories are also considered for the Beacon Award. This is a prestigious title awarded to the business that is considered to be the most inspirational.”

The awards’ ceremony, when 16 trophies will be handed out will be held at Stirk House, Gisburn, on Thursday October 11.
