Rapidly-growing Lancashire accountancy firm takes on new trainee with construction industry experience

One of Lancashire’s fastest growing accountancy firms has taken on a new trainee with significant experience in the construction industry.

Bishops Chartered Accountants, which has offices in Blackpool, Blackburn and Longridge, has taken on Rachael Marwood as a Trainee Accountant at the firm’s Blackburn office.

Prior to joining Bishops Chartered Accountants, Rachael ran an accounts office for a building and construction company, giving her a particular insight into the sector and the accounting needs of construction firms.

Rachael said: “I am delighted to be joining Bishops Chartered Accountants. The firm is known throughout Lancashire for its excellent level of client service and so it is great to embark on my professional career here.”

Andrew Tabernacle, Managing Director at Bishops Chartered Accountants, said: “We are very pleased to be able to welcome Rachael to the team. Her experience in the construction industry means she has a unique understanding of the commercial and accounting needs of businesses operating in this sector.”

Rachael is the latest trainee to join Bishops Chartered Accountants in 2017. Earlier this year, the rapidly-growing firm welcomed Oliver Guest and Jack Potter to its ranks.

Meanwhile, Kristian Bibby qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, having completed the prestigious ACCA qualification with the firm.
