Bamber Bridge company provides key note speaker at industry seminar

To celebrate the BPMA Promotional Products Week (2-6 October 2017), Lancashire based BusinessGiftUK.com has organised a thought provoking seminar and networking opportunity on 12 October at Leyland Golf Club. The theme is why merchandising should be part of your marketing mix.

One of the key note speakers is Steve Ward, Managing Director at Ad-Options Ltd, one of the leading distributor of promotional merchandise to the UK and across Europe. Steve founded the company, who trade online as BusinessGiftUK.com, in Leyland in 1985 and he, and his family team, have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the world of promotional merchandise.

Commenting on his role at the seminar, Steve said: “I aim to illustrate how giving branded merchandise to a customer, can be a very cost-effective way of making a memorable impression as well as making an emotional impact on a client.

“I will also demonstrate how the role of a distributor is to find the right product for our client from a vast range of manufactured and printed products, available from a database of over 80,000 products at BusinessGiftUK.”

Steve also highlighted the wealth of merchandising talent in Lancashire.

“The seminar is a great opportunity to combine the views of our national professional body, the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), with two leading Lancashire based companies, distributor, BusinessGiftUK fromBamber Bridge and wholesale manufacturer, SPS EU Ltd from Blackpool. It clearly showcases that Lancashire companies are leading the way and are able to supply local businesses with quality products that make a good impression and lasting impact.”

Other speakers at the seminar include Christine Girven, Marketing Manager, SPS EU Ltd, outlining the benefits of buying British when it comes to promotional products and Gordon Glenister, Chairman, BPMA on recent developments for the industry.
