RECORD GROWTH FOR NORTH WEST FINANCIAL FIRM AS IT PASSES £160M FUND MANAGEMENT MILESTONE

North West IFA Acumen Financial Partnership has announced record levels of growth after passing the £160m mark for funds under its management.

The West Lancashire firm has reached this milestone less than a year after the company broke the £100m barrier in terms of managed funds.

The sum of the funds currently managed accounts for an increase of around 60% in just over 12 months.

In the same period Acumen also hosted a successful financial planning forum and recruited two new staff members.

Acumen’s managing director Angela Maher said:

“Reaching this significant milestone comes at an important time for the business as we look to build for the long term.

“We have a close-knit, highly-skilled team which we hope to grow at all levels, while ensuring current staff members reach their full potential with Acumen.”

Jon Landy, director of Acumen Financial Partnership, said:

“The past year has been one of record growth for the business.

“From 2013 to 2016 the company increased its funds managed total by around £50m, so to better that in just one year is tremendous.

“Breaking the £160m barrier, in combination with this unprecedented level of growth, demonstrates a huge leap forward in terms of our business strength and direction.”

The Burscough-based company, which was founded in 2006, has over 900 active clients on its books, served by a 16-strong team of staff.
