Whitehead Migrates to Seriun

Seriun have recently appointed Phil Whitehead as senior IT support engineer to further strengthen a team renowned for their service excellence.

Phil embarks on a senior support role at Seriun and will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support to Seriun’s customer base – resolving technical issues before they become problematic. He will also spend time developing relationships with customers to ensure all is running smoothly and that they have everything they need.

Phil said “It’s refreshing to have a dual role – engineer support combined with customer relationship development. I’m looking forward to working with our customers directly, getting to know them personally and driving relationships forward proactively.”

Derren Stephenson, Operations Manager of Seriun said “Phil will be a great asset to the team, and with his extensive knowledge and experience in the field, we look forward to seeing him take our service level to an even higher standard.”

Phil brings a wealth of experience with him having spent the past seven years at Holker IT as IT and Infrastructure Engineer, where he was responsible for the full IT support life cycle from the planning and design of solutions through to implementation and after service support. In the seven years prior to Holker, he specialised as field Service Engineer at Synergy Technology Ltd, and Support Engineer at Lanway. Another interesting fact is that Phil was one of the original three P’s who set up P3 Computers in Burnley, which is still a successful computer repair and IT services business today.

Phil said “I have worked for the major players in the area and I now feel I’m taking the next step in my career by working with the best. Having seen the successful growth of Seriun over the past number of years and meeting with the team, I am really excited to be part of the next phase of Seriun’s growth.”

Originally from Burnley Phil now lives in Darwen and is very much a family man and enjoys spending time with wife Tracey and sons Kyle (9) and Owen (8). With his spare time, he is heavily involved in the junior football scene – in support of his children’s footballing interests… He is a Committee Member for Walton-le-Dale FC, and is also part of the parent access group at Gregson Lane football club. Football really does run through his veins so it comes as no surprise that both Phil and his children are Burnley FC season ticket holders, so try to make sure they never miss a match!

Seriun are pleased to welcome Phil into the team, as they embark on their recent growth strategy, and look forward to an even more successful year in 2018.
