TEAM LEYLAND INTERNATIONAL STRENGTHENS THEIR COMMITMENT TO THE REGIONAL BUSINSS COMMUNITY.

Team Leyland International have pledged their commitment to the regional business community by becoming the newest Patron member of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

Team Leyland International was established in 1993 as a centre of excellence in the exporting of commercial vehicles, parts and technical support.  They specialise in providing their international customers with technical unrivaled expertise, exceptional customer service and unique sourcing capabilities.

Since 1993, almost 25 years on, that vision has been realised as the company has established a reputation second to none as a major automotive exporter to customers and dealers around the world.

Mick Mayor, founder and Managing Director of Team Leyland International said: “As we approach our 25th Anniversary in 2018, it was appropriate to reaffirm Team Leyland’s commitment to our local supply chain & the Lancashire economy by supporting the largest & most effective organisation representing the business community – North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce”

The Chamber’s Patron Membership package has been developed to offer a select number of organisations a partnership platform showcasing their unwavering commitment to the continued strengthening of the region’s business community – by standing shoulder to shoulder with one of the county’s most highly respected business support organisations, the NWL Chamber of Commerce.

Patron membership is the most strategic and influential partnership the Chamber offers and is limited to just a handful of organisations.

Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce commented:  “Team Leyland’s tangible support enables the Chamber to contribute to play the leading role in the regeneration of the local economy.

“The Chamber represents its 1600 members, from its offices in Preston and Blackpool, on a wide-range of issues, including Red Tape, transport, legislation and exporting. But more than that, it really does play a key partnership role in Government regeneration initiatives to the benefit of all businesses in our region.

“Each Patron has committed financially to the Chamber beyond the cost of their annual membership subscription. The Chamber depends upon the support and goodwill of our members, sponsors and Patrons, who provide financial and other support for the Chambers activities.

Babs Murphy went on to say “I would like to thank Mick and all at Team Leyland for putting something back into the economy.  I hope the relationship between the two organisations, established some 24 years ago, continues to strengthen.”
