ARMA (the Association of Residential Managing Agents) ACE awards, introduced to celebrate excellence and exceptional achievement by the UK’s leading residential managing agents and their work in improving the lives of thousands of leaseholders across the country, were held Last Month in London.
Homestead Consultancy Services are one of the leading Residential Block Managers in the North West, they are based on the Fylde Coast in St Annes and are active throughout the North West, managing apartment buildings throughout Lancashire Merseyside in and around Greater Manchester and are undergoing rapid expansion in North Wales and Cumbria. Homesteads professionalism and customer lead approach had been recognized when they were shortlisted in the Customer Services Category at the ARMA ACE Awards, and whilst Homestead didn’t win they were delighted to be highly commended by the panel of independent Judges.
Managing Director of Homestead David Bentham said ‘To be shortlisted was a fantastic achievement and when the announcement was made on the night that we had been highly commended I was absolutely delighted, especially when you consider the other companies in our category. We were up against some really big hitters. So when the compere announced we were Highly Commended and read out ARMA’s statement ‘Wonderful entry demonstrating that a smaller organization can stand proud among their larger competitors. Great examples of work and attitude of ‘under promise and over deliver.’ I couldn’t have been prouder if we had won.”
The winners were revealed at a glittering Awards Dinner & Ceremony at Tobacco Dock, which provided a stunning backdrop to a fun-packed evening of live music, fine dining and exciting entertainment.
With temperatures touching the 30s and attended by 450 members, affiliates, suppliers and sponsors, the event was hosted by the hugely entertaining Nick Davies. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal before the 13 winners and 11 highly commended entries were announced.
The young people’s homeless charity, Centrepoint, were ARMA’s charity partner for the evening.
