Acorns of Lancashire won the coveted title as “Dry Cleaner of The Year 2016-17”

Acorns of Lancashire won the coveted title as “Dry Cleaner of The Year 2016-17” . We were deemed to be the best in the whole country out of 3,600 plus Dry Cleaners in the UK. The awards were run by industry body : Laundry and Dry Cleaning Today, and we were judged and awarded to the best by multi-million pound companies and professionals within the industry. To be modest, this was a fantastic achievement for an independent company based in Accrington.

Also, this month we won the Micro Business of the Year in the local Hyndburn Business Awards 2017, which we are extremely proud of. We also sponsored the “Pride of Hyndburn” awards in this ceremony, which was jointly won by the Hyndburn Helpers, a local group of volunteers who do fantastic work for the underprivileged and homeless. The phrase unsung heroes springs to mind, and they duly deserved to win, as well as Mickii Edwards. A local professional who runs a Weight Loss Academy in Oswaldtwistle. Personally Mickii has raised thousands of pounds for charity and sick children.

Finally, we are also extremely proud to be finalists in this year’s Be Inspired Business Awards, The Biba’s , in the Excellence in CSR category. As we were one of the runners up last year, this September we hope to do one better !
