Agency director scoops Best Employee of the Year

Chorley-based public relations agency, KRPR is celebrating after its junior account director scooped Best Employee of the Year award at last night’s Lancashire Business Awards (LBA’s).

Luisa Boero-Rol, beat off stiff competition to reach the finals earlier this year after being nominated for the award and faced seven other finalists in the category.

Luisa, who accepted her award on the night said: “It is such a great honour to be recognised for this award. I take great pride in my work here at KRPR, and what we as a team have achieved in recent years.
“From challenging new business wins to delivering consumer engagement campaigns for our top clients, no two days are the same in PR and that’s just why I love it! I’m really pleased to receive Best Employee of the Year, what a fantastic year this has been so far!”

The LBA’s are created by North West business organisation, Downtown In Business and this year saw hundreds turn out for ‘A Game of Thrones’ themed ceremony at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Blackburn.

Kara Rose, managing director at KRPR, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that our very own director has received this award – it’s truly deserved. Luisa has been instrumental in the agency’s success since she joined in 2014. She has managed some of the agency’s high profile clients, delivered award winning campaigns and played a key role in winning major new clients for the business, including international brands.”

The employee of the year award comes after a very successful year for the agency that looks forward to celebrating its 10 year anniversary this month. KRPR has triumphed with new additions to the team and had its client work recognised at the CIPR Awards and PRmoment Awards, where the agency walked away with both silver and gold in multiple categories.

Luisa could be set for a double win this year with the further finalist announcement for ‘Rising Star Award’ at this month’s PRCA DARE Awards at the Radisson Blue Edwardian Hotel in Manchester.
