Remsol boss makes it into top 500 list of sustainability and CSR influencers

Lee Petts, the boss of Preston-based consultancy Remsol, has made it into a coveted list of the top 500 sustainability and CSR influencers on the social media platform, Twitter.

Appearing for the first time, Petts went straight in at #348.

He’s in good company. The list includes leading lights such as KPMG, Unilever, Dragon’s Den ethical investor Deborah Meaden, the green bank Triodos and M&S ‘Plan A’ boss Mike Barry.

“I’m delighted to have been recognised in this leaderboard of the top 500 sustainability and CSR influencers on Twitter, especially when you consider the worldwide profile enjoyed by others in the list,” said Petts.

Ranking of the top 500 influencers and players active on Twitter in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainable, Green and Ethical Business, Socially Responsible Investment and Governance, the leaderboard ranks Twitter users on the basis of scores that measure interactions and influence across all major social-media channels and online, with the metrics provided via leading independent platform Klout.

The data is published by McClelland Media Ltd.

“Twitter is a global platform with over 313 million monthly active users. I think it’s quite an accomplishment to stand out among so many users, especially when hashtag research using http://hashtagify.me shows that #sustainability and #CSR enjoy a popularity score of around 60%, meaning a lot of people are using them.

“The challenge now is to rise up through the list!” concluded Petts.
