Chard of Blackpool are voted 2017 UK BULLION DEALER OF THE YEAR!

Chard, coin and bullion dealers in Blackpool have been named 2017 UK BULLION DEALER OF THE YEAR by the Bullion.Directory for the third year running. The annual competition was fierce this year with over 105 candidates in Britain battling for the most prestigious title in the industry.

With intense rivalry from huge national dealers, Blackpool dealer Chard soldiered on gathering support from customers and supporters both locally and all over the world. As voting drew to a close, Lancashire turned out in force to ensure that the title stayed in Blackpool.

With over 50 years experience and as the largest privately owned coin and bullion dealer outside of London, Chard have a strong reputation as an expert voice in the field. The company’s motto is Inform, Educate, Inspire thereby helping customers to make informed decisions. The emphasis is on providing a wide range of products, coins and bullion, modern and historic, whilst being transparent and competitively priced. Their highly trained staff are knowledgeable and are always happy to assist.

Lawrence Chard said “We are absolutely thrilled to have been voted UK Bullion Dealer of the Year for the third year running, scoring a hat-trick against some of the giants in the industry. We are not the UK’s biggest bullion dealer but we’re probably the oldest and we try our hardest to be the best. Our customers are the driving force behind the growth of Chard, their feedback helps us to improve our services and shape our future. Their support and enthusiasm has been immense and we are incredibly proud to be their UK Bullion Dealer of the Year.”

Bullion.Directory provides essential independent resources for investors across five countries. They host awards in a a number of different categories each year including Bullion Dealer of the Year in the USA, Canada and the UK. This year, Chard have also won the 2017 International E-Commerce and 2017 International Numismatics categories.

With their first website being created in 1998, Chard are no strangers to e-commerce. They hold a strong online presence and their websites are crammed full of coin and bullion information. They are currently upgrading their main website chards.co.uk to make the customer journey smoother. Many of Chard’s webpages are purely informational, with no link to sales and are a font of numismatic knowledge for coin collectors and investors.

Juliana  Chard, who has recently joined the family company said “We are proud of our Blackpool roots and are determined to go the extra mile – the Golden Mile!”
