Free business improvement apprenticeships for NW firms to improve customer value and profits

A Blackpool training company are making fully funded business improvement apprenticeships available in January to companies throughout the North West. These apprenticeships will provide participating businesses with additional skills to further increase the value they provide to their customers and improve their profitability.

Over 450 companies from across all business sectors have already realised benefits in excess of £45m (£100K average per company) to date from employing lean management business improvement enabled by the RKMS Group.

Throughout January 2017, the RKMS Group with the backing of the Skills Funding Agency are making fully funded Business improvement apprenticeships available for organisations which meet the entry criteria.

Business Improvement Apprenticeships Deliver Beneficial Business Projects

Over a 12 month apprenticeship period, 5 lean management business improvement modules will be delivered with participants skills developed through a combination of workshop based interactive learning and the creation of practical “Lean” projects within their business.

This leads up to a final presentation session where projects are presented to the other participating teams and senior figures from within their organisation.

Director of Holt Green Training Mike Smith commented on the benefits of these apprenticeships “Lean management creates more customer value while lowering costs and improving profits. For instance, a hotel saved 5728 man hours and improved its customer care while a hire company increased its productivity and realised £50k pa savings.”  See more here – http://www.holtgreentraining.co.uk/

As a result of participating in this pathway, apprentices will work with their managers to integrate “Lean Management Thinking” into their organisation by:

– Developing and implementing a real time Lean Management project

– Embedding Lean behaviours, giving participants the ability to develop further projects at the end of the programme

– Learning how other companies apply Lean Management to their operations and share experiences

– Achieve process efficiencies and associated financial savings, typically at a level no less than 20:1 return on investment (when delivered commercially)

Free Apprenticeships Available Until the End of January 2017

The programme is delivered by “lean management” professionals that have considerable experience in the areas of Lean Management Thinking, Lean Finance and Change Management and a successful track record in helping companies realise significant savings through process efficiency.

Mike Smith continued “Application for these fully funded apprenticeships will be only available for a limited period during January 2017 and organisations interested in pursuing them are encouraged to make their enquiries as early as possible”.
