Lancashire accountants deliver Christmas hampers for homeless

A Preston-based accountancy firm has delivered hampers to an organisation supporting the city’s homeless this Christmas.

Rotherham Taylor Limited delivered the hampers to the Foxton Centre, the firm’s charity of the year, on Tuesday 13 December 2016.

The firm has carried out a hamper collection at Christmas for a number of years and this has proven popular with clients, contacts and staff.

Chloe Greenbank, a manager at Rotherham Taylor Limited, said: “We are always keen to make a difference to our local community and that is why we announced the Foxton Centre as our charity of the year earlier this year.

“Our clients, contacts and staff have always been very generous with their donations to our hamper and it has been no different this year as we have collected for the Foxton Centre.

“As Christmas approaches, I know that the hampers we have delivered will make a real difference to people in need.”

After the Foxton Centre was announced as the firm’s charity of the year earlier this year, Toma Sukyte, Marketing and Communications Lead at the centre, said: ‘’We are very pleased and thankful to be named charity of the year by Rotherham Taylor Limited. It is very encouraging when we receive such support.

“We have to be constantly fund raising in as many ways as we can in order to be able to continue our work with some of Preston’s most marginalised people.

“We put all donations of money and collections of food, toiletries or clothes to immediate and very good use and this support from Rotherham Taylor Limited makes a very real difference.”
