Chorley company is runner up in global Digital TV awards

Lancashire based CTU Systems is the first UK firm to be runner up in the prestigious International Digital Content Innovation awards, the global  “Oscars” of the Digital TV industry. The awards celebrate innovation in content, distribution and delivery of digital television services across the world.

CTU Systems, who develop bespoke software to enhance a company’s digital television systems, based on their cutting-edge technology and integration capabilities, was shortlisted in the ‘Power Behind the Scene’ category for their Eludo product. Their software ensures that the quality and download speed of their technology benefits worldwide digital television systems.

Joe Ibrahim, Managing Director of CTU Systems enthused:: “We are delighted that our innovative technology has been recognised as a world leading product. We’re just a small company based in Chorley, Lancashire and we’re now competing with industry leaders such as Reuters, IBM and Net Insight.

“Customer service is in our DNA. Our team develops a very close relationship with our customers and it is crucial that we understand their business. We can then work with them to streamline their systems, identify any bottlenecks and suggest improvements, particularly where automated processes would be beneficial. These are our key strengths which the award nomination recognised.

“Consequently, on the night, it was a massive achievement for us to be announced as runner up to Reuters. I am so proud of the global recognition this gives both the team and the company. This award will definitely motivate us to continue to develop our products, so that the next time we enter, we can hopefully win!”
