Dobbies’ Preston store aiming for a paw-fect Christmas

Dobbies’ Preston store has announced the return of its popular Santa Paws experience  where residents can bring their furry friends on a magical journey to its grotto.

The popular garden centre is inviting customers to watch as their perfect pooch shares a delightful moment with Santa, and have the magic captured with a professional photograph.

Before leaving, dogs will receive a toy carefully selected by Santa and tailored to their size.

Dobbies is renowned for its love of dogs and is partnering with Dogs Trust, the UK’s leading dog welfare charity, on the Santa Paws experience. When purchasing a ticket online, Dobbies’ customers have the option to donate to Dogs Trust’s mission of caring for, rehabilitating, and rehoming thousands of dogs every year.

Santa Paws is open from December 5 until December 24, on selected dates. The experience costs £9.99 per dog and the professional photograph add on can be pre-booked for a discount. To make it an experience for the whole family, guests can also book the Santa’s Grotto for children at £12.99 per child, including a toy.

Dobbies’ events programme manager, Ayesha Nickson said: “Our beloved Santa Paws experience offers a truly magical moment for dog lovers and their furry companions this Christmas. It has gained immense popularity in recent years, often selling out and providing a memorable experience for everyone.

“Partnering with Dogs Trust allows us to lend our support to an important cause that’s very close to our hearts. So, come join us for a fun festive adventure and create lasting memories with your four-legged best friend.”

Dogs are welcome in all Dobbies stores and in dedicated areas of the restaurant. Dog pawrents are encouraged to act fast to secure their spot and avoid disappointment. To find out more, visit: Events | Dobbies Garden Centres
