Village Gym Joins Forces with HYROX Global Fitness Challenge

Village Health & Wellness Clubs are known for staying ahead of the latest fitness trends, and their partnership with HYROX is no exception. As fitness enthusiasts gear up for the ultimate challenge, Village Gym is excited to collaborate with HYROX.

As part of this new partnership, Village Gym has become an official training venue for HYROX challengers, offering group classes and training sessions tailored to the HYROX fitness model. These sessions focus on improving endurance, strength endurance, power, and aerobic capacity through an athletic training programme.

Challengers will benefit from the expertise of certified trainers, who will guide them through innovative workouts, structured fitness challenges, and in-house competitions. Open to anyone over the age of 16 with a basic fitness level, these classes are perfect for those seeking a new workout challenge.

HYROX, which originated in Germany in 2017, is a global fitness competition that tests participants’ limits with a combination of running and eight strength and endurance exercises. It is inclusive, catering to people from all backgrounds and fitness levels. The competition has rapidly expanded to over 30 cities in more than 11 countries, making it one of the world’s fastest growing fitness sports.

The event features divisions such as HYROX Women/Men, HYROX Pro Women/Men, HYROX Doubles, and HYROX Team Relay, allowing everyone to take part in a competition that suits their ability.

Village Gym’s partnership with HYROX will allow the club to offer fun, competitive training sessions, aligning with their mission of helping people of all fitness levels achieve their goals. For those not ready for the full HYROX experience, Race Sim events will be available later this year, starting with Village Gym Manchester, Ashton on 10th November, followed by Birmingham and London in early 2025.

Leisure Club Manager, Lee Clayton, said: “HYROX is the fastest growing sport in the world. In line with the growing trend for competitive fitness, our partnership offers another level of innovation to our fitness programmes, and will no doubt be a hit with members throughout our UK clubs.”

As an official HYROX Training Club, Village Gym will run HYROX training sessions all club locations, exclusively for its members.

In addition, Village Gym Ashton, Manchester will host a HYROX Sim event on 10th November, with tickets going on sale soon. Be quick, as they are expected to sell out!
