ADHD 360, in collaboration with leading educational professionals and neurodiversity specialists, is excited to announce the imminent launch of the ‘Neurodiversity in Schools Toolkit‘. Available from May 1, 2024, this groundbreaking toolkit aims to enhance learning experiences for neurodiverse students throughout the UK.
The toolkit, which is founded on the premise that “Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, especially those within often neglected neurodiverse groups”, delivers insightful strategies and practical solutions. Drawing on the latest research and ADHD 360’s extensive experience with ADHD and autism, it arms teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders with the essential tools and insights required for inclusive and comprehensive student development.
Donna Sharkey, who leads the initiative at ADHD 360, highlighted the need for such resources, saying: “Neurodiversity in the classroom is increasingly recognised but not always understood. Our toolkit offers a thorough approach to help educators unlock every student’s potential.”
Phil Anderton, Managing Director at ADHD 360, expressed his views on the toolkit: “This toolkit is more than just resources; it’s part of a broader movement towards inclusive education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.”
Ben Johnson, a teacher from Horncastle, noted the positive impact of the collaboration: “This collaboration with ADHD 360 and our SEND team has been revolutionary. This toolkit will make participating schools a beacon for students with ADHD.”
ADHD 360 is inviting schools, educators, and parents across the UK to join in adopting this innovative toolkit to profoundly influence the educational outcomes of neurodiverse students.
