BWS up for Micro Business of the Year award

Chorley-based BWS has secured a nomination for the Micro Business of the Year at the 2024 Red Rose Awards.

The Red Rose Awards aims to celebrate the Lancashire businesses that keep the county’s economy going.

And now BWS – an ambitious professional services consultancy – has its eyes on achieving the Micro Business Award, which rewards companies who have continued to adapt and change to meet new challenges, while continuing to service customer needs and securing new opportunities.

BWS has successfully moved into the scale-up stage and overcome a number of challenges in recent years – including starting the business mid-pandemic.

The team has shown its commitment to consistent evolution, including its specialist service offerings that provide additional support to UK SMEs, a unique approach to sales and marketing innovations, as well as its industry-leading in-house processes.

Finalists

As a finalist, BWS will now attend interviews and go through the final judging process early February, before the prestigious awards ceremony on March 14, at Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

Michael Baron, commercial director at BWS, said: “To be shortlisted as a finalist for the Red Rose Awards showcases how far we have come as a business. We’ve experienced fantastic growth as a scale-up consultancy in recent years and we’ve retained some fantastic clients along the way. It’s great to have some recognition for all the team’s hard work. The first of many awards to come!”
