‘The Garden Furniture Centre’ Proudly Sponsors the Oldest Solo Female Ocean Rower

The Garden Furniture Centre Ltd is delighted to announce our sponsorship of Victoria Jeffs on her daring Atlantic rowing expedition! This marks a significant milestone for both The Garden Furniture Centre and Victoria, and we are thrilled to stand as sponsors for this remarkable journey. On Friday, 27th October, we will warmly welcome Victoria to our expansive 10,000 square foot showroom in Wootton Wawen, where she will unveil the boat that will carry her through this extraordinary challenge.

Victoria is set to make history as the oldest solo female to traverse the ocean, embarking on a journey from Gran Canaria to Barbados in January 2024. This extraordinary feat will earn her a place in the Guinness World Records. Following this remarkable achievement, she will undertake another exceptional voyage, becoming the first solo female to circumnavigate Great Britain. For further details, please visit her website: https://www.totallyoardacious.com/

Our Involvement in the Journey

Victoria approached us, having been a valued customer for over a decade, expressing her desire for The Garden Furniture Centre to be a part of her remarkable odyssey. We were deeply honoured and elated by this opportunity, and naturally, we enthusiastically accepted the invitation to join this epic adventure. Our logo, alongside those of other diverse companies, will grace both sides of the boat’s hull, a privilege that fills us with immense pride and fosters a sense of community.

Victoria shared, “bought my fantastic and ENORMOUS garden sofa from [us], and the great news is it is still looking good today and is incidentally, where I spent much of my time sat planning my Totally OARdacious adventures.”

We will diligently keep our audience updated on Victoria’s progress throughout her journey via our social media platforms, sharing captivating photos and videos along the way.
