Nature’s Retreat at Beetham: Holgates Holiday Park Marks a New Era with Phase One Development Completion

Holgate’s Beetham Holiday Park, synonymous with picturesque settings and tranquil meadow walks, is embarking on a new chapter. The park recently celebrated the culmination of phase one in its ambitious development project, unveiling 20 pristine holiday home plots that blend seamlessly with the lush surroundings. This marks a significant step in Holgates’ commitment to fostering a nature-centric holiday experience since taking ownership of the park in June 2022.

Since its acquisition, the team at Holgates, seasoned and new alike, have been relentless in upholding the park’s famed natural charm and stellar standards. The Beetham Holiday Park seamlessly embodies the ethos reverberated across all ten parks governed by Holgates, celebrating nature’s splendour and fostering a community bound by the love for the outdoors.

Michael Holgate, the Managing Director and Owner of Holgates, couldn’t contain his excitement over this landmark development. He shared, “It is a very exciting time for Beetham. Following the acquisition last year, making it the tenth holiday park in our group, we’re delighted to be welcoming the first owners onto our new development plots facing the meadow walk. What makes this even more special is that the planning permission for the development was in place prior to the park joining our group, so the development has been a long time in the making.”

Situated in the serene landscapes of Beetham, part of the renowned Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), this development not only offers prospective holiday homeowners unparalleled views but also a golden ticket to join a burgeoning community that reveres nature and seeks a respite from the frenetic pace of daily life.

Holiday enthusiasts can now stake their claim to a piece of this paradise, enjoying a 12-month holiday season that promises a rich tapestry of relaxation, familial memories, and an unspoiled view of the Cumbrian countryside. As testimony to the allure of this development, two fortunate homeowners have already embarked on their journey to create lasting memories at the park.

The journey, however, is far from over. Holgates Beetham Holiday Park is gearing up for a bustling period of growth and transformation. Yet, amid these changes, the park’s foundational commitment to offering a sanctuary of serenity and natural beauty remains steadfast. This initial unveiling of four plots heralds the onset of an exhilarating phase, with plans afoot to develop 16 more plots, inclusive of larger lodge plots, projected to reach fruition by 2024.

As the park blossoms, it continues to be a beacon of unforgettable experiences and cherished moments, inviting individuals and families to forge a deep connection with nature, and to each other, in the heart of Cumbria.
