Everfield, a European Software Investor, Acquires UK Work Order Management Software Provider Depotnet

Everfield, a growth-focused investor in B2B software businesses, has completed the acquisition of Depotnet, a prominent work order management software provider specialising in the Telecoms, Utilities, and Infrastructure sectors. This strategic move empowers Depotnet to invest in innovation and accelerate its growth, leveraging Everfield’s full support and resources. This acquisition marks Everfield’s ninth investment in the past year.

Headquartered in Warwickshire, Depotnet has earned its reputation as an industry-leading software platform, facilitating network operators and engineering contractors in efficiently managing and delivering build and maintenance projects for linear asset networks while ensuring compliance.

Depotnet will maintain its existing leadership team, led by Holly Dalby and Darren Bridge, retaining its distinctive culture and brand identity. Everfield’s strategy is to support Depotnet’s expansion by offering strategic guidance and financial backing to grow its team, serve its expanding customer base, and diversify its product portfolio. This aligns with Everfield’s “buy-and-grow” approach and its commitment to partnering with specialised vertical market software businesses.

“We are delighted to welcome Depotnet into the Everfield family. Depotnet’s outstanding track record, experienced team, and deep industry expertise perfectly align with our strategic vision. At Everfield, we are long-term partners for entrepreneurs and place great importance on preserving the culture and industry knowledge of the businesses we invest in. We look forward to collaborating with Holly and Darren in the next phase of Depotnet’s journey, continuing their dedication to innovation and delivering industry-leading solutions.” – James Moore, Acquisitions Manager (UK&I) at Everfield.

Depotnet’s current management team, led by Holly Dalby and Darren Bridge, will continue to lead their 40-person team from their offices in Henley-on-Arden, UK.

“This acquisition marks a huge milestone for Depotnet. In joining forces with Everfield, we are brilliantly positioned to take the business to new heights, in particular accelerating some of our longer-term technology ambitions, as well as securing long term future opportunities for our amazing staff. We selected Everfield as a partner due to Everfield’s deep strategic knowledge, alongside their commitment to retain the Depotnet brand, the management team and our long-term vision to deliver increasing value from every aspect of our software in an ever-changing market. This investment will allow us to support and expand the cutting-edge software solutions that thousands of our users have come to rely on.” – Holly Dalby, Managing Director of Depotnet.
