Tonic App Recognized by Google Play in Europe, Highlighting its Impactful Medical Platform

Tonic App, the pioneering mobile-first platform designed to simplify clinical practice for physicians, has earned prestigious recognition from Google Play in Europe. As part of its #WeArePlay campaign, Google Play selected Tonic App among 126 European applications, acknowledging the purpose-driven stories of companies making a difference in their respective fields.

Among nearly two million existing apps worldwide, Tonic App stands out as the only medical application chosen in the campaign. The initiative aims to showcase the stories and missions of European-born applications available for download on the Google Play Store.

Representatives from the selected companies, including Tonic App’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), João Oliveira, and Lead Software Engineer, Éder Franco, had the opportunity to connect and engage with other companies at Google’s Annual I/O Conference in Amsterdam, where the campaign was promoted.

With a mission to enhance physician productivity, Tonic App continuously expands its offerings, catering to the needs of over 125,000 physicians. Recently, the platform integrated an AI-powered virtual assistant to support doctors in various tasks, such as retrieving knowledge, summarising clinical records and scientific articles, and preparing health information for patients.

Daniela Seixas, founder and executive director of Tonic App, expressed the team’s excitement over the recognition, emphasising the competitive mobile market and the product’s dedication to easing the daily lives of physicians.

The recognition from Google Play also enhances Tonic App’s credibility and visibility, attracting more healthcare professionals to benefit from the platform’s features. The platform’s significance is underscored by Matthew Durham, Director, Global Media, CMI Media Group, who values Tonic App as an essential tool for European healthcare professionals and a crucial partner in their media campaigns.

As a comprehensive platform aggregating knowledge and tools to support clinical decision-making, education, video consultations, job opportunities, and more, Tonic App is rapidly becoming the fastest growing medical platform in Europe.

With this recognition, Tonic App reinforces its commitment to empowering healthcare professionals and contributing positively to the medical community across Europe.
