Lancashire Recruitment Firm Grows With Double Appointment

Fresh Perspective Resourcing, a recruitment firm based in Chorley, has expanded its workforce to 12 with the hiring of two additional talent seekers.

Tom Anderson and Rachael Watts have joined the business in order to meet increased demand from employers across Lancashire.

In addition, three promotions see Cheryl Ashcroft assume the new position of team lead having joined the company in August 2021; Andrea Nelson is now Assistant Team Lead and Vicky Taylor is now Senior Team Lead.

Northumbria University graduate Tom is a self-proclaimed ‘head of positivity’ and, along with former Costa Coffee store manager, Rachael, brings a friendly and vivacious personality to the lively, proactive firm.

‘A recruitment business with a twist on the traditional’, Fresh Perspective is owned by dynamic sister-duo Emily and Laura Leyland.

Speaking of the team growth and development, Managing Director, Laura said: “Reaching a double-digit headcount is no mean feat for a small business and it’s an important milestone in the growth of Fresh Perspective. We have bold ambitions for the next 12 months and this shows we are already on the path to exceed our targets.

“Against the backdrop of the cost-of-living crisis and in the aftermath of the global Covid-19 pandemic, there’s burgeoning demand for good people, who are conversely getting harder to find!”

Emily added: “Tom and Rachael have the right attitude and aptitude to work in recruitment and will be great additions to the team, I’m sure. Cheryl was a great fit for us from the start and has really developed during her time here, so the time was right to bump her up to the next level and we look forward to seeing her excel in the role.

“We’ve hit the ground running in 2023 and are excited to see what the next quarter has to offer.”

Boasting a vibrant company culture, Fresh prides itself on hiring likeminded people with the right values and ethics and, with a focus on staff morale, hosts a number of initiatives, such as quarterly team building, weekly yoga and regular charity events, including volunteering days.
