Junior Accountant Programme Launched at Wirral-Based Online Accounting Firm The Accountancy Partnership

The programme will equip trainees with the essential accountancy skills from the beginning, giving them a significant advantage over high-street accountancy firm trainees

Wirral-based online accounting service, The Accountancy Partnership, has launched its Junior Accountant Programme. As part of The Accountancy Partnership’s commitment to uplifting and creating jobs in the local area, the programme will provide trainees with fast-track immersive training in every aspect of accounting and first-hand mentoring from Senior Accountants.

The knowledge focused programme, delivered by The Accountancy Partnership’s in-house training team, is designed to set trainees up for a career in accountancy. Unlike other UK accountancy practices, trainees will have the unique opportunity to manage their own portfolio of UK-based clients, giving them invaluable client-facing experience from the very beginning of their accounting career. Additionally, trainees will have the chance to use a wide variety of accounting software, putting them at an advantage over other trainees as many high-street accountants are yet to move to digital.

Lee Murphy, managing director at The Accountancy Partnership, said: “This year we’re hoping to find and train over 30 new accountants across 3 cohorts, who will join us in supporting small businesses and self-employed individuals all over the UK. Our Junior Accountant Programme is a great opportunity for people with a keen interest in joining the world of accounting to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking accountancy practice, whether they’re leaving education, or ready for a change of career. We’re excited to welcome the next generation of accountants in the North West!”

As part of their commitment to staff development, The Accountancy Partnership also pay for the qualifications trainees wish to pursue, along with providing exam leave and study leave. Each trainee will be assigned a mentor to support them during the programme.

The programme is made up of 3 cohorts, the first one starting this month and the others in June and September. Trainees don’t need to be studying or have any previous accounting qualifications. To find out more, you can download the recruitment pack and apply here.
