The Mayor of Pendle reveals details of Charity Ball

Reach for the Stars is this year’s theme for the Mayor of Pendle’s Charity Ball and Pendle locals are invited to come along and help raise money for local good causes. 

Tickets are £45 for the event which is taking place from 7pm for 7.30pm on Friday 3rd March at The Fence Gate, a luxurious venue nestled at the foot of Pendle Hill. 

After a three-course meal, there will be popular band Furious Styles, a disco, charity auction and raffle. 

His Worship the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Yasser Iqbal, said: “It promises to be a wonderful evening! 

“I hope as many people as possible will come and join me. 

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to come together and have a great time whilst raising money for charity.” 

The Mayor’s chosen charities are: 

  • Pendleside Hospice 
  • Nelson Community Masjid (NCM) Foodbank 
  • Curry on the Street 
  • Rise Support 
  • Hope for Mankind
