Wash Studio has delivered a series of videos as a follow-up to its successful Creativity Matters campaign promoting UCLan Art School for the University of Central Lancashire.
The videos, hosted on the faculty’s website and promoted on Instagram, feature alumni appearing to be revealed from under a coating of paint, before talking about their experiences on courses including Art, Design & Fashion, Journalism, Media, Performing Arts & Music and Architecture.
The previous campaign, launched last year, showed students covering lifestyle objects in paint, while talking about the importance of the creative industries to the national economy and culture.
Gareth Jackson, Head of Marketing at the University of Central Lancashire, said: “The campaign led to a significant increase in application figures in 2022 after providing increased traffic to our website, an increased number of leads from the Create Your Future events and higher levels of engagement on our social platforms for the Arts.
“It has been great to see the campaign progress and highlight how UCLan supports those that want to pursue careers in the creative industries. We have great things to shout about – from our employability-focused degrees to our excellent facilities, and this campaign has been a great tool to showcase all these factors.”
Speaking about the new campaign, Wash Studio Creative Director Andy Walmsley said: “This time we’ve pushed the concept to add a splash of colour, as we reveal some of the recent success stories to come out of the University’s Arts School.
“It has made for a lovely set of testimonial films with a twist, and some striking visuals, and we’re really grateful to the brave participants who took part – though I blame our Art Director Rebecca Robinson, who came up with the idea, for any discomfort experienced!”
