Blackburn-based Sales Geek launches in Newcastle and Northumberland

Sales Geek has launched a new office covering Newcastle and Northumberland, head by experienced sales director Lee Shipsey.

Bringing with him over 30 years of B2B (business-to-business) sales experience, from starting out as a contracts engineer at Newcastle-based NEI Parsons Ltd, Shipsey’s sales career has progressed through progressively more senior sales roles, initially in the control systems market and then the utilities industry where he was the deputy CEO of Durham & Peterborough based, Wave Utilities, and sales and marketing director, of Edinburgh based Business Stream, prior to launching Sales Geek in Newcastle.

Sales Geek is a multi-award-winning provider of sales consultancy expertise and sales training for businesses of all sizes across the UK and internationally.

Established in 2017, the Blackburn-headquartered company has doubled in size every year since launch, expanding coverage to include London, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Bolton, Coventry, Leicester, Shropshire, Belfast, and North Wales in the last year alone, while its Sales Geek Hub app now has users across the globe.

On launching Sales Geek – Newcastle and Northumberland, Mr Shipsey said: “Working with businesses of all shapes and sizes, my role is to provide a part time or interim sales director service to drive significant growth in my clients’ revenues and profit.

“Sales Geek’s success comes from applying proven methodology and processes based on many years of collective expertise to help what every ambitious business want to achieve – more sales.

“With Sales Geek, you are able hire a highly experienced sales director who can help transform a business, without the salary and benefit costs that a full-time sales director of a similar calibre would typically attract.

“Having worked around the UK, I’m really happy to be back to my roots in Newcastle and I am looking forward to working with business from across the city and Northumberland.”
