Fleetwood Hall’s housekeeper celebrates 14 years of service

A highly valued member of the team at Fleetwood Hall Care Home is celebrating 14 years of service.

Carole Holt is a much-loved housekeeper at the purpose-built Lancashire care home in Fleetwood.

Lexie Smith, Deputy Manager of Fleetwood Hall, said: “Carole joined us as a housekeeper 14 years ago and is one of our longest serving members of staff. She works hard, is incredibly flexible and a huge support.

“She is also much loved by residents and frequently takes the time to share her knowledge and experience with new people joining our team.

“We wanted to let her know how much she means to staff and residents with a little party, some gifts and a massive thank you.”

Carole, who started working as a housekeeper at the home in 2008, was presented with a bottle of bubbly, flowers and a celebratory cake by Lexie.

Carole said: “I love working at Fleetwood Hall and looking after the residents and can hardly believe that I’ve been here for 14 years!

“There’s a brilliant atmosphere in the home and the staff all get on really well. I was touched to be given such a lovely thank you from everyone.”
